There's even a microwave for reheating "take homes", a bagel toaster and an ice machine. Along with the hair dryers, coffee makers, refrigerators, cable TV and free local calling, our guests feel right at home. When they need an hour to "perfect" a room, they have it! We added free wireless internet "wifi" for our customer's personal convenience. We give our staff the time to clean and our housekeepers take immense pride in the result. They are as immaculate and as comfortable as your own home. In 2007 we completed the total renovation of all of our rooms. That's definitely not the case at the Flamingo. The Flamingo Motel also has a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, "Route 66", and another two bedroom suite "Cabin Fever", both for the guest with a family or for two couples. Many people think because it's 50s, it's just old and not comfortable. For the sportsman there's the Cowboy Room, Gone Fishing, the Lighthouse, a Golfer's Paradise and the patriotic "red, white & blue" Americana. Then several garden theme rooms: the Tuscan, the English and the Cottage Garden, all very cozy & inviting. Each room has a name, for instance there is The Victorian, a room very popular with newlyweds and anniversaries. You may never need to turn on the air conditioning but its there just in case. The Spanish tile roof was unique in the area but has proven it can withstand the winter snows and keep the single story motel very comfortable in the summer. At the time it was built all the best materials were used and it was quite "the place to stay" according to those that remember "way back when". The Flamingo Motel has been around for over five decades (1954), offering interesting furnishings & quality linens that decorate each of our theme rooms.
